Interpretation of doses (uSv)
- 5–20: Possible delayed reaction, possible chromosomal damage
- 20–100: Temporary leukopenia
- 100–200: Moderate syndrome within hours: vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue
- 200–300: Acute syndrome, potential lethal exposure (LD 10–35/30)
- 300–400: Severe syndrome, bone/intestinal involvement (LD 50–70/30)
- 400–1000: Acute premature death (LD 60–95/30)
- 1000–5000: Rapid death within a few days (LD 100/10)
